A classy vintage pearl matinee necklace from the mid 20^th Century showcasing an array of luxurious, creamy-white cultured pearls that are exceptionally bright with a smooth glossy surface. It’s held securely by a round 14ct gold box clasp at the end with an ornate, open-work design. 

Pearls are the birthstone of June and a true treasure of the ocean, produced organically by fresh and saltwater molluscs. Their spherical shape and exceptional lustre have long been associated with the beauty of the moon and are symbolic of purity, serenity, and loyalty.
