A sweet antique Victorian curb bracelet from the late 19^th Century consisting of chunky yellow gold curb links, each stamped 9ct with every second link engraved with foliate patterning. It’s held by a safety chain and heart padlock clasp chased with further scrolling motifs across the front with a previous owner’s monogram on the back.

Heart padlocks were often gifted to a loved one during a long period of separation. It was a symbol of the couple’s strong love and commitment to one another, reminding the recipient that they may be gone, but their heart will always be with them. 

It’s a beautiful piece that has been loved and cherished over the years and would make a wonderful gift for a loved one.
