Antique Edwardian French Toi Et Moi Diamond Pearl Twist Ring

An elegant antique Art Nouveau ring made in France in the early 20^th Century. The front is adorned with an old mine cut diamond weighing approx. 0.50ct and a lustrous pearl. 

The two matched stones symbolise the coming together of two souls. The style was made popular in France in the 18^th century and was named “Toi et Moi”, which is French for “You and me”. 

The stones are set in platinum with a curving, 18ct gold band running through the centre lined with six twinkling diamonds and an additional one dotted on either side.

It would make a stunning engagement ring and boasts a beautiful combination of stones.
