Details
Enchanting with twenty-two magical cabochon moonstones, this glamorous antique Victorian moonstone bracelet is sure to be admired. Each semi-transparent cabochon moonstone exhibits a luminous silver-blue light that shimmers across the surface and intensifies with the light. The smallest weigh approx. 0.80ct and graduate to large 2ct stones in the centre (approx. 26ct total).
The mystifying moonstone derives its name from the stone’s ethereal, luminescent light that was once believed to be moonlight in solid form. In Greek mythology they were associated with Selene, the feminine moon Goddess and said to be a path to love, wisdom and new beginnings.
Dating to the late 19th Century, this striking Victorian moonstone bracelet consists of 15ct gold bezel links that articulate fluidly around the wrist and is held by a reliable box clasp and safety catch at the end. It’s in excellent condition and showcases a truly mesmerising display of natural moonstones that look wonderful glowing around the wrist.
We recommend you insure for £1,900. We can provide a written Valuation on completion of the sale.
