VICTORIAN SCOTTISH AGATE BROOCH CIRCA 1900
This is a fabulous Sterling Silver Plaid Scottish Agate brooch, is set with inlaid Scottish Agates, Circa 1900.
Scottish thistles are engraved around the edge and inner circle of the brooch.
The brooch comprises of different coloured Agates with the natural graining of the stone showing through and polished to a very high standard.
Scottish Jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland from the mid 1800’s.Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.
