ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SUFFRAGETTE 9CT BRACELET CIRCA 1900
This fabulous 9ct Suffragette antique Victorian bracelet is Circa 1900.
Each larger link has a gemstone which is either an Amethyst, Peridot or Pearl, which leads to a secure clasp.
Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery was chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking.
Green is for give, white is for women and violet is for votes.
Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for it’s stunning beauty and legendary powers to stimulate, and soothe, the mind and emotions.
