ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SAPPHIRE DIAMOND TRILOGY RING 18CT YELLOW GOLD CIRCA 1900
A stunning antique Victorian trilogy ring crowned with a central 0.80ct blue Sapphire flanked by two gorgeous 0.25ct Diamonds which are superb VS1 clarity – H colour stones accompanied by four smaller Diamonds that make a total of approx. 0.60ct.
Sapphire is said to be a stone of truth, wisdom and strength and has been adored throughout history for its deep royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The gallery is crafted in 18ct Yellow Gold and features intricate engraved detailing across the top and shoulders. It also displays an inscription inside the shank that reads – C.W. 25. 2. 24 – which will have been the date the ring was presented as a gift.
