A fabulous Antique Victorian winged insect brooch set with a beautiful polished bullseye Agate abdomen leading to Turquoise and Rose cut Diamond encrusted wings, Ruby set eyes and topped with a lustrous Pearl in the centre.
Butterfly or insect jewellery is highly collectable and was once considered a symbol of good luck to the wearer during the Victorian Era.
The Piece is beautifully crafted in Silver and 18ct Yellow Gold with a solid pin and safety catch on the reverse. It is a sweet little piece boasting a colourful array of gemstones.
