ANTIQUE GEORGIAN PASTE GOLD SILVER EARRINGS
These fabulous white Paste Silver and Gold earrings boast a 5ct Paste stone in each earring, if not larger.
They are Collet set in Silver and presented in a lovely square cushion cut gallery.
These have been made from a Georgian collar and made into earrings.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass Pastes.
These sparkle and shimmer just like old cushion cut Diamonds, flawless, absolutely beautiful.
The back of the earrings including the wires are 18ct Gold gilt and polished to perfection.
The surround of the earrings are beautifully decorated boasting beautiful workmanship.
Georgian Paste jewellery is extremely collectable and sought after world wide.
These really are spectacular, I have worn a pair like this for years and they are commented on daily.
They sit so comfortable in the ear too and look amazing when worn.
