ANTIQUE GEORGIAN CABOCHON REGARD LOCKET RING 18CT GOLD CIRCA 1800
A lovely antique Regard locket ring from the Georgian era, Circa 1800.
The cluster of colourful cabochon cut gemstones spell out the word Regard with each first letter of the stone – Ruby, Emerald, Garnet, Amethyst, Ruby and Diamond.
The word ‘REGARD’ forms part of the phrase ‘With my Regards’ or ‘I highly regard you’ meaning that your loved one holds you very close to their heart.
Each cabochon stone is 0.22ct with a small Diamond nestled in the centre.
The gallery is all original, set in 18ct Yellow Gold with beautiful engraved shoulders and a hidden locket on the reverse which has a Crystal window.
This is a rare, highly collectable ring with a sweet message behind it.
The lovely ring has had a back plate added on the under gallery for strength over the decades.
