ANTIQUE FRENCH GUARD CHAIN 18CT GOLD ON SILVER CIRCA 1900
This beautifully crafted antique French guard chain was made during the Victorian era, circa 1900.
During the Victorian period it was common for well dressed ladies to wear a long chain, called a guard or slider chain, to hold lockets, fobs or watches.
