ANTIQUE EDWARDIAN SUFFRAGETTE 18CT GOLD RING DATED 1915
A fabulous antique Edwardian Suffragette ring claw set with four Diamonds, two 0.10ct Peridots and a 0.25ct Amethyst in the centre.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
The ring is all set in 18ct Yellow Gold and fully hallmarked and dated Birmingham 1915. The ring looks beautiful upon the finger and is a lovely representation of the movement.
