ANTIQUE 15CT GOLD EDWARDIAN SUFFRAGETTE BROOCH CIRCA 1910
A fabulous antique Edwardian Suffragette brooch decorated with Pearls, square cut Amethysts and a 0.60ct Peridot in the centre.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
The brooch is fashioned in 15ct Yellow Gold and is a beautiful design. It would look stunning on a lapel and is a wonderful representation of the movement.
