A striking antique French ring from the late 19th century adorned with a lovely cabochon Moonstone which is an impressive 12ct stone.

The Moonstone has a lovely ghostly hue and a luminous surface similar to that of Moonlight. They are said to be a magical stone providing a channel for prophecy, and a path to wisdom.

The Moonstone is set in an extravagant ornate gallery modelled in 18ct Yellow Gold with beautiful engraved detailing across the face and shoulders. It is a fabulous piece of history and very eye-catching.
