SCOTTISH SHIELD SILVER BROOCH DATED 1947
This wonderful Scottish Sterling Silver Shield brooch is dated Chester 1947.
The beautiful piece boasts engravings on the front of the brooch showing pristine workmanship.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. From the mid 1800's Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.
The markers marks Shipton & Co are stamped on the reverse too.
The brooch looks beautiful when worn, a wonderful Scottish piece that deserves to be treasured.
