ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SCOTTISH NECKLACE SILVER SERPENT LINK AGATE BEADS CIRCA 1880
An exquisite Antique Scottish necklace made during the mid-Victorian era, Circa 1880. The piece is made up of polished banded Agate beads held together by long Sterling Silver links with a Serpents head at each end.
Each Agate is unique and boasts various earthy colours and patterned layers which are naturally formed, earning it the appropriate nickname ‘The Earth Rainbow’.
The piece is very well made and held securely around the neck by a hook clasp. It is steeped in the history of the era and beautifully preserved.
