ANTIQUE GEORGIAN EMERALD DIAMOND CLUSTER RING 18CT GOLD CIRCA 1830
A beautiful antique Georgian ring featuring a cluster of Emeralds and Diamonds displayed in a lovely engraved front gallery. The Emerald is said to be the sacred stone of the goddess Venus, It was thought to preserve love and has long been the symbol of hope. The gallery is modelled in 18ct Yellow Gold with fancy engraved shoulders and an inscription on the inside of the shank which reads – M.M. 4-10-55 – which is most likely the date the ring was presented as a gift along with the recipient’s initials. The ring is full of romantic sentiment from times gone by and would make a fabulous gift for your loved one.
