This genuine Georgian collar is Sterling Silver set with old cut Paste stones.

16 lovely Paste set panels are interlinked leading to a boxed Paste fastener.

The sparkling Paste stones glisten and shimmer like real Diamonds at a fraction of the price.

Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass pastes.

Each one is an old cushion cut Paste stone, with a lovely step cut, closed backed gallery.

This really is a lovely old Georgian collar.
