This spectacular ring is encrusted with approx. 0.50ct of Rose cut Diamonds and depicts a fabulous Skull flanked by two bones to represent the Memento Mori jewellery of the 18th century.

Memento Mori was a popular concept in Georgian England. Its literal translation is ‘Remember you will die’, and the pieces contain sombre imagery such as skulls and skeletons. Whilst it may seem a morbid choice, the style was intended to remind people of the brevity of life, and to therefore seize the day and enjoy living.

The skull is modelled in Silver and fitted to an 18ct Yellow Gold band. It is a wonderful Georgian inspired ring and a great talking piece.
