This fabulous Georgian White Paste necklace is Circa 1790.
Due to its age, Georgian jewellery is quite rare, with some pieces almost three hundred years old.
From 1714 until 1837 four King Georges and a short-lived William gave rise to this extended period, spanning many fashions that are reflected in these stunning pieces of Georgian jewellery.
Each foiled backed Paste Stone is beautifully hand set in Sterling Silver.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones.
They sparkle just like Diamonds, captivating the allure of natures beauty.
The backs of the Paste Stones have a closed backed Silver gallery boasting pristine Georgian workmanship.
Purchased in London and steeped in English history.
