This genuine Georgian collar is extremely rare, a lovely

deep Purple Amethyst paste necklace

18th Century Circa 1730 if not earlier.

A fabulous Sterling Silver Paste collar that is set with old cut

paste stones that are foiled backed and in keeping with the

necklace, a lovely deep rich purple velvet colour of

paste, it's stunning and in excellent condition.

Paste stones sparkle beautifully captivating the allure of natures beauty.

Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of

gemstones because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion.

Each paste stone has a lovely closed backed gallery which is typical of the

Georgian Era.
