Kate received Princess Dianas distinctive and eye-catching 18 carat blue sapphire engagement ring during her engagement to Prince William. Princess Diana specifically chose this ring out of a jewellers collection, with jewellery historian Leslie Field stating, She told me it definitely wasn't the biggest, she simply thought it was very beautiful.
