ART DECO BLUE PASTE SILVER BANGLE CIRCA 1930
This fabulous Art Deco Sterling Silver Blue Paste bangle is Circa 1930.
Art Deco represents the style of the decorative arts popular between the two wars. The style was huge in the Roaring Twenties and produced Glamorous, colourful and fun, jewellery pieces that incapsulate this famously flamboyant period.
The beautiful bangle is adorned with fabulous Sapphire Blue Paste Stones around the entire outer circumference.
Paste is a transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. Blue Pastes simulate the beauty of Sapphires which were once known as the ‘stone of destiny’.
The bangle is all set in a beautifully engraved Sterling Silver gallery and hallmarked ‘Sterling’ on the inside.
Purchased in London and steeped in English history. The bangle looks beautiful when worn, very eye catching.
