decorative gallery which compliments the fabulous turquoise stones.
Fully hallmarked Chester 9ct gold 1902
The domed polished turquoise stones are all natural and have formed
beautiful colouration over the years.
Turquoise is the symbol of friendship. It also brings peace to the home,
also a symbol of forget me not.
“Forget-me-not, O Lord!” is what a poor German knight shouted as he fell
into a river. He and his lady were picking flowers by the side of the river at the time.
Yet as fate would have it, the knight’s armour dragged him down to the bottom
as he fell in. Upon his cries to the Lord, he threw the blue posy of flowers
to his loved one and promptly drowned.
The pearls are lovely lustrous and natural, a pearl is composed of calcium
carbonate in minute crystalline form, which has been
deposited in concentric layers.
