ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SCOTTISH SILVER AGATE PADLOCK BRACELET CIRCA 1860
An exquisite antique Scottish bracelet from the Victorian era made up of fancy patterned Agates and large golden Paste Stones that simulate the radiant beauty of Citrines.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her frequent trips to Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral from the mid-1800s.
Each Agate is unique and boasts various earthy colours and patterned layers which are naturally formed, earning it the appropriate nickname ‘The Earth Rainbow’.
The bracelet is set in Silver with beautiful engraved detail with a padlock clasp holding it all together. It is a highly unique find and steeped in history.
