ASK A QUESTION PURCHASE

This wonderful antique Silver set Scottish Agate brooch is Victorian Circa 1860.

Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her frequent trips to Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral from the mid 1800s.

The brooch boasts a large, natural, rectangle Agate in the centre with round patterned Agates surrounding it.

Agate is a strong mineral sometimes known as the earth rainbow for it’s patterned texture that shows varying colours the earth can produce.

Each Agate is unique with beautiful natural colouring and polished to perfection.

The brooch is Silver set and fitted with a sturdy pin and catch.

This is a lovely, collectable Scottish brooch, steeped in history and looks beautiful when worn!

Weighs 11.2 grams.

Measures 36mm across x 33mm down.

Excellent condition.
