ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SCOTTISH ANCHOR BROOCH - LARGE SET IN SILVER
This is a fabulous Victorian large Sterling Scottish Agate brooch
which is a large Anchor.
A Beautiful Cornelian Agate is hand polished to perfection in this Anchor
brooch with a silver rope twist rope swirling around the Anchor.
It has been tested for silver using jewellery acid testers.
Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a
souvenir of her trips to Scotland.
From the mid 1800's Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her
Scottish Castle Balmoral.
Lots of lovely natural agates are set into this pristine
Victorian Silver Scottish brooch.
The jewellery comprises of different coloured Agates and Carnelian with
natural graining of the stone showing through.
This brooch has a closed backed silver gallery with original pin and over catch,
this really is spectacular.
