This beautifully crafted Antique Victorian ring contains a 0.60ct central Sapphire flanked by two approx. 0.22ct Sapphires. Six 0.10ct old cushion cut Diamonds are arrayed across the top and bottom of the central stone, all set into a bright 18ct Yellow Gold gallery.
The blue Sapphire is said to be a stone of truth, wisdom and strength and has been adored throughout history for its deep royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The ring’s shoulders are intricately decorated, with expertly crafted ridges leading down into the golden shank. It is a remarkable historic piece, steeped in the history of the Victorian age, and a true treasure.
