ANTIQUE VICTORIAN SAPPHIRE DIAMOND RING 18CT GOLD 1.20CT SAPPHIRE CIRCA 1900
A magnificent Antique late Victorian ring modelled in 18ct Yellow Gold and claw set with three beautiful blue Sapphires the largest of which is approx. 0.70ct in the centre flanked by two 0.25ct stones at each end (1.20ct total).
Blue Sapphire is said to be a stone of truth, wisdom and strength and has been adored throughout history for its deep royal blue colouring which was considered a reflection of the sky and the heavens, making it divine.
The Sapphires are complemented by two clean, bright old European cut Diamonds which have superb VS1 clarity and H colour. Each is 0.30ct (approx. 0.60ct total).
It is a truly spectacular piece and boasts a wonderful combination of gemstones.
