This fabulous Sterling Silver Insect Brooch is adorned with beautiful Moonstones and Cabochon Sapphires.

All genuine Victorian, circa 1900.

The Sterling Silver Insect has lovely all round engraving with two pale blue Moonstones on it’s back.

The largest of the Moonstones is 2ct.

Moonstone has a lovely ghostly hue, it has been a tangible connection to the magic of the moon, an amulet of protection to the travellers, a gift of lovers for passion, a channel for prophecy, and a path to wisdom.

The Insect also has beautiful Cabochon Sapphires for eyes.
