An exquisite antique Victorian pendant depicting a butterfly carved out from a substantial segment of Jade stone which has a wonderful earthy texture and two tones of green.
Jade is considered the ultimate ‘Dream Stone’ and has been admired in ancient cultures throughout the world as a protective talisman, assuring long life and wisdom to the wearer.
The butterfly displays fabulous engraved detail across the wings and body with a dropper tail made up of two polished Jade beads dangling below.
It is complete with 18ct Yellow Gold bale and dropper links which top and tail the piece. It is a truly remarkable find and a great collector’s item.
