A wonderful, long Antique Victorian guard chain made up of slender Silver links with lovely black Niello stripes.

Niello is a black alloy that fuses into an etched or engraved metal base to create a fabulous decorative effect that stands the test of time.

The chain is fitted with a connecting trigger and ring clasp which is also detailed in Niello workmanship. It is a lovely piece and can be worn as one long chain or wrapped twice around the neck.
