ANTIQUE VICTORIAN FLORAL HORSESHOE AXE BROOCH SILVER GOLD DATED 1894
An exquisite Antique late Victorian brooch made up of two interlinked horseshoes decorated with forget me nots with a Halberd behind.
The brooch carries lots of romantic symbolism with two interlocked Horseshoes representing the luck that brought two people together and forget me nots carrying a long-lasting symbolism of love and remembrance.
The piece is fashioned in Sterling silver with Yellow Gold highlights across the flowers. It is complete with Birmingham hallmarks on the reverse which date the piece to 1894.
