ANTIQUE VICTORIAN EMERALD PENDANT CIRCA 1880 18ct GOLD
This is a fabulous 18ct yellow gold pendant which displays
three beautiful Emeralds.
It is genuine Victorian Circa 1880
Three lovely square cut Emeralds.
Three beautiful Emeralds cascade down the centre of the pendant
and adorned with lustrous pearls.
Emerald derives its beautiful green colour from the presence
of chromium and vanadium.
The Emerald is the sacred stone of the goddess Venus,
it was thought to preserve love.
The Emerald has long been the symbol of hope.
Pearls have a wonderful lustre with a rich creamy tone, they
are lovely lustrous and natural, a pearl is composed of calcium
carbonate in minute crystalline form, which has
been deposited in concentric layers.
Steeped in English history, purchased in London, this is a beautiful
set with Emeralds which is very rare indeed.
