This genuine antique Victorian brooch depicts a woman with a tigers claw in her hat. Circa 1880

Set in Sterling Silver.

Tigers claw jewellery was manufactured by native craftsmen for the English tourist market in India during the late 19th century.

It would certainly have been owned by an exceptionally wealthy woman, and it was meant to dazzle onlookers.

The brooch is set with beautiful all round workmanship, this is a collectable piece of jewellery which looks fabulous when worn!
