ANTIQUE SUFFRAGETTE BROOCH PASTE STONE SILVER EDWARDIAN CIRCA 1910
This glorious antique Edwardian Suffragette brooch is set with Pink, White and Green paste stones, built into an intricately arranged Sterling Silver Gallery. Delicate foliate motifs curl outwards from the centre, rising up to surround the beautifully clear pink teardrop stone at the piece’s heart.
Paste is a heavy, transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. White Pastes sparkle just like Diamonds and take expert craftsmanship to capture their beauty.
This is a wonderful example of Edwardian craftsmanship, and a truly spectacular piece of historic jewellery.
