This fabulous Vintage snake bangle is set in 9ct Gold, Circa 1970.

The snakes head is set with two red Rubies as its eyes, and boasts beautiful details.

Serpent jewellery became popular during the early years of Queen Victoria’s reign coinciding with the full flowering of the Romantic Movement. Serpents represent love, loyalty and friendship, what a lovely combination.

The Ruby is considered to be the most powerful gem of the universe, given as a gift, the ruby is a symbol of friendship and love. Ruby is also the symbol of vitality and loyalty.

The bangle sits around the wrist adequately, the design makes it comfortable to wear not too tight.

Hallmarks can be seen on the reverse of the snakes head.
