A beautiful coiled serpent Paste ring is set in Silver.

This fabulous ring is in the shape of a coiled Serpent that wraps round the finger.

The serpent is adorned with brown and white Paste Stones that resemble the markings of a snake.

Serpents represent love, loyalty and friendship, what a lovely combination. Serpents were also given as a token of love and friendship during the Victorian Era.

Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass pastes.

This is such a fabulous ring and great conversation starter.

The ring is stamped 925 - Silver.
