This stunning antique Victorian Scottish Silver Citrine brooch is Circa 1860.

Scottish jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her frequent trips to Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral from the mid 1800s.

The wonderful brooch is set with a magnificent 50ct Citrine in the centre, surrounded by a halo of colourful Quartz stones.

Citrine’s sparkle and have a crisp, radiant quality about them. The stone is sometimes known as ‘Gold Topaz’ and is the birthstone for November.

The legendary Quartz can be found in a variety of different colours and have been valued throughout history by spiritual leaders who believe the stones are divine.

The piece is all set in Silver and fitted with a sturdy pin and C-catch.

This is an absolutely stunning piece of Victorian history, a wonderful collectable piece that looks beautiful when worn!

Weighs 28.7 grams.

Measures 52mm across x 52mm down.

Citrine measures 27mm x 27mm.

Quartz stones measure 5mm x 5mm.
