This fabulous Victorian Silver Plaid Agate brooch is, Circa 1860.

Scottish Jewellery was made popular by Queen Victoria as it became a souvenir of her trips to Scotland. From the mid 1800’s. Queen Victoria frequented Scotland and her Scottish Castle Balmoral.

The brooch boasts the most spectacular Agates, showing their natural grain from within.

Agate is a form of finely grained Quartz. They can have many different styles making each Agate unique.

This beautiful brooch has the most pristine workmanship throughout.

With a closed backed Silver gallery with original pin.

Purchased in London and steeped in English history.

Looks fabulous when worn, making this a unique statement piece.

It weighs 21 grams.
