Antique Edwardian Paste Bow Brooch Silver Circa 1905 Boxed

A spectacular antique Edwardian bow brooch made by George Kenning & Son in the early 20^th Century. It’s modelled in solid silver and decorated with an array of old European cut paste stones that simulate the beauty and sparkle of diamonds.

G. Kenning & Son were established in London in 1860 and known for their quality Masonic regalia and jewellery, with branches all over the United Kingdom from Manchester to Glasgow.

The bow has a wonderful, scalloped border with flower motifs running through the centre. It’s held securely by a strong pin and trombone clasp on the back.

It’s in excellent condition and complete with its original box displaying the maker’s insignia on the underside of the lid.
