This stunning Victorian style lavaliere necklace was made representing the Suffragette movement.

Suffragettes liked to be depicted as feminine, their jewellery popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White colours which were chosen to counter the stereotypes put forward by opponents that they were mannish or shrieking! Green is for Give, white is for Women and violet is for Votes!

The necklace is adorned with green Peridots, white Diamonds, and violet Amethyst links that are surrounded by Pearls.

Amethyst has been highly esteemed throughout the ages for its stunning beauty which has adorned regal jewellery all around the world, from ancient Egypt to the British crown jewels.

The Peridot is a stone of lightness and beauty and was believed to be a stone of springtime by ancients who considered it a gift from Mother Nature.

The stones are set in a Silver gallery which is gilded in Gold and attached to a 9ct Yellow Gold chain.
