A fabulous antique Suffragette lavaliere necklace from the Edwardian era featuring a beautiful double drop gallery decorated with lustrous Pearls, rich green Peridots and violet Amethysts.
Suffragette jewellery was worn to show one’s allegiance to the women’s Suffragette movement in the early 20th century and popularly consisted of Violet, Green and White stones which carried the message: Green for Give, white for Women and violet for Votes!
The main gallery is a beautiful design with fancy droppers and stones. The largest Peridot is an impressive 3.20ct stone with a lovely 1ct Amethyst sitting above.
The gallery flows wonderfully into the chain with smaller floral sections integrated in-between. All set in 15ct Yellow Gold and finished with a barrel clasp.
This has to be one of the most beautiful suffragette necklaces we have ever exhibited and looks stunning around the neck.
