This fabulous Victorian Sterling Silver Butterfly winged brooch is Circa 1900.

The beautiful Dragonfly boasts vibrant coloured butterfly wings which shimmer between blue, turquoise and amber with the light.

Butterfly or insect jewellery is highly collectable and was a symbol of good luck to the wearer during the Victorian Era.

Butterfly wing jewellery derives it’s fabulous pattern and colour from the wings of various species of butterfly. The wings are only collected after the butterfly has passed away and are given new life in these stunning jewellery pieces that show off their natural beauty.

The wings are topped with a smooth protective Rock Crystal casing, enhancing and magnifying the beautiful colours beneath.

Fitted with a secure pin and C-catch.

This is a beautiful, collectable brooch that looks fabulous when worn, a great talking piece.
