This fabulous Georgian Antique Paste ring is set with a lovely central deep blue Paste Stone surrounded by white Old Cut Paste Stones.
The ring is Georgian Circa 1800.
The blue central Paste Stone measures over 4ct in size.
Old Cut Paste Stones sparkle just like Diamonds, captivating the allure of natures beauty.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass Pastes.
Part of the reverse of the ring has a closed backed gallery which is typical of the Georgian era.
The Paste Stones are set in Silver which compliments the old cut Stones beautifully.
