This exquisite fabulous crescent Sterling Sliver brooch is adorned with old cut Paste Stones.
15 fabulous old cut Paste Stones are set into this amazing Georgian brooch.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass Pastes.
The stones range from 1.50ct in size to 0.10ct in size and have a closed backed setting which is typical of this era, this is all original.
Steeped in history, this stunning brooch will be ideal for a special occasion, it looks great when worn!
