ANTIQUE GEORGIAN PASTE EARRINGS SILVER GOLD
These fabulous white Paste earrings boast a 5ct Paste stone in each earring, if not larger.
They are Collet set in Silver and presented in a lovely square cushion cut gallery.
These have been made from a Georgian collar, a small hole is at the back of the earrings as the culets of the stone are very deep.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass Pastes.
These sparkle and shimmer just like old cushion cut Diamonds, flawless, absolutely beautiful.
The back of the earrings are 18ct Gold gilt and polished to perfection.
Georgian paste jewellery is extremely collectable and sought after world wide.
These really are spectacular, I have worn a pair like this for years and they are commented on daily.
They sit so comfortable in the ear too and look amazing when worn.
