Antique Georgian Paste Earrings Boxed Circa 1800
These fabulous all original Sterling Silver Georgian Paste earrings are spectacular, Circa 1800.
Due to its age, Georgian jewellery is quite rare, with some pieces almost three hundred years old.
From 1714 until 1837 four King Georges and a short-lived William gave rise to this extended period, spanning many fashions that are reflected in these stunning pieces of Georgian jewellery.
The foiled back Paste Stones are so beautiful, these earrings are a true treasure.
The centre Paste Stone is approx. 1.50ct with smaller Paste Stones chasing around the gallery.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that simulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones. They sparkle just like Diamonds, captivating the allure of natures beauty.
All set in Sterling Silver with original 18ct Gold shepherd hook wires.
Complete with the original Leather box with deep royal blue interior of plush Velvet.
Purchased in London and steeped in English history.
