These delightful Georgian Paste earrings are Circa 1800, set in Silver.
Each Paste stone is cushion cut, these really are beautiful.

Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones because it has relatively high indices of refraction and strong dispersion, the Romans in particular were very skilful in the production of coloured glass pastes.
The earrings are set on high ct Gold wires, which are Victorian.
Set in sterling silver with Old Cut Paste stones.
The Paste stones sparkle continuously they really are beautiful, all foiled back from the Georgian Era.
