ANTIQUE GEORGIAN LARGE PASTE STONE ENAMEL PENDANT SILVER CIRCA 1800
This magnificent large Georgian Silver pendant is, Circa 1800.
Due to its age, Georgian jewellery is quite rare, with some pieces almost three hundred years old. From 1714 until 1837 four King Georges and a short-lived William gave rise to this extended period, spanning many fashions that are reflected in these stunning pieces of Georgian jewellery.
It is set with beautiful pink and green Paste stones in a beautiful floral like gallery.
Enamel can be seen dotted around the stones.
The combinations of stones and Enamel compliment each other superbly.
Paste is a heavy, very transparent flint glass that stimulates the fire and brilliance of gemstones.
The pendant is set in three sections which dangle freely.
It shows fabulous craftsmanship from it’s time.
Weighs 12.4 grams
Measures 10.5mm down x 45mm across.
Good condition for its age.
